John Walker is the President of the Tube Collectors Association (TCA). The Tube Collectors Association (TCA) is a non-profit, noncommercial group of individuals interested in the use, history, and preservation of electron-tube technology. It was founded in 1999 and the original Yahoo group (https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/TUBECOLLECTORSASSOCIATION/) was started at that time by Ron Lawrence.

This Vacuum Tube Archive Website was created to make the Tube Collectors Association magazines available to all who seek the exciting hobby of collecting vacuum tubes and related material. Ludwell Sibley, the editor of the TCA magazine, spent, and is still spending, countless hours to that end.

Tube Collector is the official publication of the Tube Collectors Association. Every issue of the bimonthly magazine Tube Collector is packed with informative articles on a wide range of aspects of the tube collecting hobby and electronic history. Regular features include club announcements, reader feedback, buy/sell/trade, and auction results. Members also receive annual Special Publications.

It is hoped that many more articles can be added to this new website to expand our knowledge and understanding of tube and valve collecting. With that in mind, we hope everyone enjoys and will make good use of what we have created on this website.
