Robert Jensen is the Wyoming Director of Government Affairs and Public Relations of The Alliance of Wyoming Manufacturers. Robert served as both COO and CEO of the Wyoming Business Council between 2004 and 2014, where he successfully oversaw the effort to attract and grow advanced technology, manufacturing, energy and other companies to Wyoming. His business experience includes a 27-year career with Fleischli Oil Company, a regional petroleum distribution and services company serving industrial construction and mining companies.

He served as president prior to selling the company in 1997. He was involved in significant Downtown Cheyenne improvement projects including the renovation and development of the historic Union Pacific Depot and Depot Plaza and the renovation of the Historic Plains Hotel. He also served as a business advisor and consultant working with the Mick McMurry family portfolio of business interests in Southeast Wyoming and Northern Colorado.

The Alliance of Wyoming Manufacturers (AWM) is a not-for-profit corporation that serves as a voice and a monitor for the manufacturing industry in matters of legislation and regulation that impact member businesses in Wyoming.

AWM advocates for legislation and regulation that enhances the ability for manufacturing companies to flourish in Wyoming and against increases in taxes and regulations that hurt the ability of manufacturers to contribute to Wyoming’s economy.
