Yandia Pérez is the Executive Vice President of the Puerto Rico Manufacturers Association(APVMA). Yandia has a strong background in business management and talent development. She worked with several global companies including Warner Lambert, Baxter Healthcare and Smith & Nephew. During her last two assignments she was General Manager for the Puerto Rico and Caribbean businesses. In such roles she was responsible of the general management of the business including sales, marketing, distribution, human resources, legal, compliance and finance.
Managing multi-million dollars businesses exposed her to a world of negotiation, management and customer service. This expertise is the foundation for her consulting business. She helps businesses and entrepreneurs develop a comprehensive plan to achieve their business goals. This experience has encouraged her to step out into the entrepreneurship world and start her own Consulting Service.

The Puerto Rico Manufacturers Association is a private, voluntary, and non-profit organization established in 1928, with the objective of uniting Puerto Rican manufacturers and Businessmen into an effective organization promoting members´ interests and the economic development of Puerto Rico.
The Association was established in 1928 before Operation Bootstrap and was the entity that suggested the creation of the Puerto Rico Industrial Development Company (PRIDCO).
