Frank Fitts is the President of the Wood Component Manufacturers Association (WCMA). Frank Fitts, Jr. embarked on his venture designing and producing precision wood components for the furniture industry. With an inquisitive mind and a desire to try new things, Frank pioneered processes which were innovative and set the tone for alternative products and ventures. Fitts quickly became a going concern, and in the early 80’s he sold his company to family members Frank and Lewis Fitts.

The Wood Component Manufacturers Association (WCMA) represents manufacturers of dimension and wood component products who can supply any component you might need for cabinetry, furniture, architectural millwork, closets, flooring, staircases, building materials and decorative/specialty wood products made from hardwoods, softwoods, and a variety of engineered wood materials. WCMA member companies are located throughout the United States and Canada.
In 1985, the association changed its name to the National Dimension Manufacturers Association (NDMA) to reflect its growing membership base and commitment to becoming a progressive, nationally-recognized association for the entire dimension manufacturing industry. In 1996, the name was changed to Wood Component Manufacturers Association to reflect the broader range of wood component products being produced by its member companies.
