Randy Wolken is the President & CEO of The Manufacturers Alliance of New York. President Wolken sits on the Regional Economic Development Council for Central New York and leads the largest manufacturing association in New York State.

He will speak about the role of advanced manufacturing as an critical sector in the region, and detail how business, government, and educational institutions can work together to impact our economic future.  He will offer his thoughts on how human resource professions can participate in shaping the agenda and contribute their expertise in moving us forward.

The Manufacturers Alliance of New York (The Alliance) is a statewide organization of manufacturing associations working together on behalf of manufacturing success in New York State. Our combined efforts allow us to create a strong voice for the statewide manufacturing community.

The Alliance has also partnered with the New York State Department of Labor and State University of New York (SUNY) to meet the workforce needs of manufacturers in New York. Through a variety of grants and special programs the Alliance partners are helping manufacturers address critical educational pipeline issues and advance Registered Apprenticeships in New York State.
