John Bourdeaux is the CEO of AdvanceCT. He believes that a great job is transformative to an individual and, when scaled, these great jobs transform communities. He brought his skill sets of connection, project lifecycle management, and relentless optimism in service to my home state of Connecticut. AdvanceCT, a New Haven-based nonprofit that works to engage, retain, and recruit businesses to Connecticut, announced that John Bourdeaux, the current president and director of business development.

Bordeaux joined AdvanceCT in March 2021 as chief of staff and was promoted to president in January 2022. Before joining the nonprofit, he served as vice president of advancement for the Connecticut Science Center. Earlier in his career, he held director of development positions at Hartford Stage and the Partnership for Strong Communities.

Connecticut is home to some of the most future-ready businesses in the nation, breaking ground and boundaries with the infrastructure and support system needed to launch new headquarters, facilities, and startups.
