DAVID F. RIVERA: Executive Director Colorado Chamber of Commerce

David F. Rivera is the Executive Director of the Colorado Chamber of Commerce. The Colorado Chamber has a long history in the Colorado manufacturing community.  In 1965, The Colorado Chamber was formed by the merger of the then State Chamber of Commerce and the State Manufacturer’s Association.  Since then, The Colorado Chamber has remained the Colorado affiliate for the National Association of Manufacturers and is proud to count many of Colorado’s prominent manufacturers among its members.

The Foundation is a non-profit educational foundation whose purpose is to support programs, research, educational opportunities and other initiatives that encourage and enhance a healthy business climate and works in partnership with state business leaders to advance Colorado’s future.

The Colorado Chamber is the only business association that works to improve the business climate for all sizes of business from a statewide, multi-industry perspective. What The Colorado Chamber accomplishes is good for all businesses, and that’s good for the state’s economy.

The Colorado Chamber was created in 1965 based on the merger of the Colorado Chamber of Commerce and the Colorado Manufacturers’ Association. As a private, non-profit organization, The Colorado Chamber’s work is funded solely by its members.
