ROB FRERES: President Oregon Manufacturers and Commerce

Rob Freres is the President of the Oregon Manufacturers and Commerce. Rob Freres is the President of Lyons-based Freres Lumber, a family-owned wood products company founded nearly 100 years ago. Rob started working at the company at the age of 10 doing clean-up work around the mill. Today, he’s recognized worldwide for Freres Lumber’s innovative approach to developing timber products such as mass plywood panels.

Freres Lumber employs nearly 500 Oregonians and is very active in supporting the Willamette Valley Community through the Freres Foundation.

Oregon Manufacturers and Commerce is an association dedicated to promoting, protecting, and advancing Oregon manufacturers and their allied partners in commerce with resolve and resolution.
