Ben Markens is the President of the Polystyrene Packaging Council (PPC). Ben Markens is the managing principal of The Markens Group, Inc. (TMG). Since 1988, he has served the consulting needs of small to medium sized companies making the leap from entrepreneurially driven to professionally led.

Over those two decades, he has developed The Markens MethodTM , a distillation of the best of today’s business thought into a clear and concise system that leaders and managers use to hone their focus and accomplish their goals.

In 2008, Markens was hired as President of the Paperboard Packaging Council. TMG formed a new division in 2008 to manage not-for profit organizations. This specialty is called an Association Management Company (AMC). TMG helps organizations put best practices in place in order to spur member and community engagement. Results for client organizations have been remarkably successful.
