RANGA NADIG: President Heat Exchange Institute (HEI)

Ranga Nadig is the President of the Heat Exchange Institute (HEI). Dr. Ranga Nadig is the President of Maarky Thermal Systems. Dr. Nadig received his Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from the University of Utah in 1984, M.S. from the University of Utah in 1983 and B.S. from the National Institute of Technology in Rourkela in India in 1978.

Prior to Maarky Thermal Systems, during his 24 year employment with Holtec International, Dr. Nadig was the top company executive responsible for the operation and growth of nuclear and non-nuclear heat exchanger business. In addition to the steam surface condenser and feedwater heater, Dr. Nadig was responsible for developing the air cooled condenser and solar heat exchanger business. During his tenure at Holtec International, Dr. Nadig successfully executed over 250 steam surface condenser, feedwater heater, and heat exchanger projects worldwide.

Dr. Nadig has made valuable contributions to the Heat Exchange Institute (HEI) during his tenures as Vice President as well as the Chairman of the steam surface condenser and heat exchanger sections. His contributions are well-documented in the latest HEI standards.

The primary purpose of HEI is to develop and publish standards which advance the technology, increase the efficiency, and promote the use of heat exchange and vacuum apparatus.

Since its founding over 79 years ago, the Institute has earned international recognition as the leading authority on the technologies for heat exchange and vacuum apparatus. Institute standards are used throughout the world for the design, manufacture and operation of heat exchange and vacuum equipment.
