Chris Nixon is the President of the Association of Air Conditioning Professionals (AACP). The trade association for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR) industry professionals in the Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C. metro area.

Since our onset, this association promotes and protects the interest and welfare of the HVACR industry, its members, and the public- which it serves. In doing so, our members maintain the highest ethical standards of selling, advertising, pricing, installation and service guided by honesty and integrity.

AACP Association of Air Conditioning Professionals – Steve Schmidt has served on the Board of Directors for the AACP since 2012. The association promotes and protects the interest and welfare of the HVACR industry, its members, and the public- which it serves.

In doing so, their members maintain the highest ethical standards of selling, advertising, pricing, installation and service guided by honesty and integrity. Members are from the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia areas. Previously, the association was a duly authorized and recognized affiliated chapter of the Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA), a non-profit trade association comprised of elite contractors that make up the heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR) industry. Their history dates back to 1964.
