David W. Lewis is the President & CEO Association of American Ceramic Component Manufacturers (AACCM).

Formed in 1992, AACCM is made up of member companies, all of which manufacture ceramic components from ceramic powders in the United States.

The articles of incorporation state the purpose of the Association as “…to expand the market for manufactured ceramic components by enhancing the processes and product quality; and by increasing public and industry education and awareness of ceramic applications.”

Periodic membership meetings are held in convenient locations; committee reports and project updates are typically provided at these meetings.

AACCM was created in 1992 as a two-purpose member-organization:

• AACCM offers OEM/design engineers opportunities to leverage ceramic technology, design and application expertise of nearly 20 member-companies. Please refer to Design Help above.
• AACCM provides member-companies opportunities to expand the ceramic component market through mutually-beneficial relationships, education and awareness. All members manufacture ceramic components from ceramic powders in the USA. Refer to Member Benefits above.
