Membership is open to anyone interested in the use of the technologies. In addition to HART and FOUNDATION Fieldbus communication technologies, FieldComm Group is responsible for ongoing development of Field Device Integration (FDI) Technology.

FieldComm Group began operations on January 1, 2015 by combining all assets of the former Fieldbus Foundation and HART Communication Foundation. The organization is committed to connecting the world of process automation.
