Lorraine Martine is CEO and President of The National Safety Council. She has more than 32 years’ experience leading and developing successful global and international businesses. Lorraine has a track record of working in both civic and corporate roles, which makes her a natural fit for the Council – an organization that offers a suite of products, training services and advocacy resources with the mission of eliminating preventable deaths.

The National Safety Council is a 501 nonprofit, public service organization promoting health and safety in the United States. Headquartered in Itasca, Illinois, NSC is a member organization, founded in 1913 and granted a congressional charter in 1953

For over a century The National Safety Council (Est 1913) has been on a successful mission of eliminating preventable deaths in the workplace, on the road, and in homes and communities.

In alliance with the federal agency OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) NSC continues to recognize the value of maintaining a collaborative relationship to improve safety and health practices and programs in American workplaces, and commit to continue their work together through an Alliance Program Ambassador (OSHA) relationship.
