New Microcontroller Delivers Superior Benefits
With the LPC1768-Stick Hitex offers an inexpensive tool for starting with NXP’s recently introduced LPC1700 microcontroller family.
The LPC1700 family is based on the new Cortex-M3 revision 2 core and is pin-to-pin compatible with the ARM7-based NXP LPC2300 series. This easily enables further development of already existing applications. Besides a number of integrated communication interfaces (Ethernet, USB host/device CAN) the LPC1700 family is characterized by an integrated mechanism for power reduction. This includes the new wake-up interrupt controller (WIC) that allows for efficient entry into and exit from lowest power sleep states.
The LPC1768-Stick is a complete development kit that enables a quick and cost-effective introduction to the LPC1700 series characteristics. Thanks to the disclosure of the power domains supply especially the power consumption can be examined. The included HiTOP software is running on the LPC1768-Stick without limitations and allows comfortable loading, debugging and modifying of the sample applications. All applications are provided with source code.
In addition to the LPC1768-Stick also various extension boards are available for the rapid development of prototypes. The LPC1768-Stick as well as the extension boards can be ordered directly at the Hitex Webshop at www.ehitex.de
