Fan manufacturer grows more than 15% from same period last year
Orion Fans Reports Record Sales In First Half of Fiscal Year
LAS VEGAS, NV - Orion Fans, a leading manufacturer of standard and custom AC and DC fans, fan trays and accessories, has reported record sales for the first six months of its current fiscal year. With a sales increase of more than 15% from the same period last year, Orion Fans has attributed the growth in part to its in-stock fan inventory, described by the company as “the largest available fan inventory in the world.” The AC and DC fans are available for immediate shipment from Dallas and United Kingdom warehouses.
“In addition to our broad offering of both AC and DC fans, our distributor partners, including Allied, Area 51, Future and Mouser, have brought us many new OEM opportunities,” said Bob Knight, president of Knight Electronics/Orion Fans. “Despite a down economy, we have been able to pick up significant market share through our standard offering as well as with turnkey custom solutions, and we expect this growth to continue.”
A major contributor to Orion’s sales growth has been the success of its high performance 172, 180 and 254mm Series AC fans. The performance and cost effectiveness of these models is unsurpassed in the industry. They are available from Orion distributors at costs significantly below the closest competitive models.
The OA172 Series 6-inch model provides up to 300 CFM with a static pressure of 0.80 inches of water. The OA180 Series 8-inch model provides 420 CFM at 1.1 inches of water, while the OA254 Series 10-inch model is available in various airflows up to 850 CFM. All three models are available in 115- and 230-volt versions.
The DC versions of the high performance fans are designated OD172, OD180 and OD254 for the 6-, 8- and 10-inch fans, respectively. These fans provide comparable performance to the AC versions and are available with many special function features.
Special features include PWM, Tachometer, Thermistor and alarm functions. The fans are offered in 12, 24 and 48V versions and are available with IP55 protection. The 48V versions of these models provide maximum airflows of 307 CFM for the OD172, 465 CFM for the OD180 and 900 CFM for the OD254 Series.
